Discover the stunning Sandsänkan lighthouse, located in the heart of a 1-km radius seal protection area. Just next to it, a thriving seal colony has made its home on the rocks.

Join us for an unforgettable experience! On Wednesdays, the boat departs from Tyrislöt at 16:00. We first visit Harstena, where you can meet your guide and explore the island’s fascinating history, including its seal hunting traditions. At 18:00, we continue to the Sandsänkan seal protection area for a 2-hour boat tour, offering incredible views and a chance to spot seals. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing evening on Harstena—dine at a cozy harbor restaurant or take a stroll around the island. If you’re not staying overnight, we return to Tyrislöt at 21:00, arriving around 21:30. Overnight guests can head back to Tyrislöt the next day at 14:30 with Skärgårdslinjen (Archipelago Line), which should be booked separately at www.skargardslinjen.com.

On Sundays, the boat departs from Fyrudden at 16:00. First, we’ll take a walk on Harstena, where you’ll learn about the island’s seal hunting history. At 18:00, we head to the Sandsänkan seal protection area for a scenic, 2-hour tour. Afterward, enjoy dinner in the harbor or explore the island before the boat departs for Fyrudden at 21:00, arriving around 21:30.
