No, our archipelago boats were built at the end of the 19th century and unfortunately they still have many problems with accessibility.

For our larger boats, we have adjusted the maximum number of passengers per trip and opened up larger areas on deck, in addition, we have intensified our cleaning routines. As a passenger, you are also welcome to stay out on deck and keep your distance.

Boarding with a wheelchair is possible on the Athene, departing from Söderköping. Our team is on hand to provide extra assistance, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.

On Ellen af Harstena, the doorway is 65 cm wide, so wheelchairs narrower than this can pass through. On Svanö, a steep staircase near the entrance makes accessibility more challenging.

Payment for the trip can be made by credit card during online booking. If you prefer to pay on the boat, you can use cash, Swish, or Euros.

Pre-booking guarantees your spot onboard. If you haven’t pre-booked, you’re welcome to join if there is still availability. Bookings can be made up until departure.

There are toilets our three larger boats. On the seal safari tour and the tour to Häradskär, which are trafficked with our smaller boats, there is no access to a toilet on board.

There are onboard bars on M/S Ellen af Harstena, M/S Svanö and M/S Athene.

We depart even with only a few bookings. The tours to Harstena are less dependent on the weather, as they stay within the archipelago. However, the seal safari may be cancelled in harsh weather conditions, as it ventures into open waters (though this is very rare).
